Nightfall sets the bar for rainforest Glamping say’s Lonely Planet.

Nightfall Wilderness camp is located in the Scenic Rim on the southern end of Lamington National Park at the wild edge of Gondwana rainforests. With emphasis on best sustainable travel experiences Lonely Planet placed Scenic Rim 8th in the top 10 regions to visit in 2022. With people seeking authentic, real experiences and a personalised touch the Scenic Rim community had the Lonely Planet judges impressed…so impressed that we made the top 10.

The Scenic Rim is located only an hour from Gold Coast, Brisbane Queensland and just under a few hours from Northern Rivers in New South Wales. The region boasts 6 National parks with volcanic ridges and mountains, World heritage listed Lamington National Park with its treasured Gondwana rainforests. The region is also well known for its quality eco accomodation, farm stay agri-tourism experiences and Nightfall was said to “set the bar for rainforest Glamping experience”. Another highlight of the Scenic Rim experience is the wining and dining with the farm to plate philosophy popular and sustainably supporting local agriculture. You can indulge at many of the wineries, breweries, restaurants and farm gate stalls. A worthwhile mark on the calendar for 2022 is Scenic Rims Eat Local festival which runs during the first week of the June-July school holidays in Queensland the hosted long table lunch with credited Queensland chefs a highlight.

If you are an adventurous type then the Scenic Rim Adventure festival should be marked on the calendar for the May long weekend. The festival includes epic expeditions, adventure film night, rock climbing, abseiling, guided mountain walks, nature play and so much more.
