At the close of the day, nightfall camp’s unique organic accommodation comes alive with new sensory experiences. Pre-dinner drinks are followed by delicious organic meals, served under the stars and beside the campfire or tailor-made, in intimate settings for those who seek privacy and romance.
It’s refined but unpretentious food, prepared by your hosts and focused on simple flavour combinations and high quality seasonal organic ingredients. nightfall’s signature dishes are cooked in the flames, on your private tent BBQ, in camp-ovens on the coals or in the camp’s custom-built wood-fired oven.
nightfall does not offer a menu – instead guests likes and dislikes are taken into account to craft a meal which also emphasises a seasonal organic food philosophy. Increasingly, produce is sourced from the camp’s kitchen garden and the local Scenic Rim region. Some is foraged from wild Australian bush tucker plants.
nightfall personalised approach also means it’s easy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, paleo, ‘raw’ foodies and those with food allergies.
Lunch is another highlight. Your backpack picnic makes it easy to tailor the middle day of your stay to your moods: you can eat when you like, where you like. Many guests use the opportunity to explore neighbouring Lamington National Park, stopping to eat under the rainforest canopy. For others, it’s all about relaxation and lunch is just perfect, taken in beanbag seats beside the tumbling creek waters only metres from nightfall’s guest lounge.
Complimentary espresso coffee and an open bar is also available in the guest lounge.
Each nightfall guest-tent includes a camp-kitchen and fridge, with complimentary goodies including sweet and savoury snacks, plunger coffee and a variety of organic teas. If you come for a self-catered mid-week experience, there’s also a private BBQ in your private tent clearing, so you’re able to prepare your own meals under the stars.
